Veterans United Was absolutely amazing from start to finish. When we first applied for this loan we weren’t quite there yet with our credit. Instead of being told no like we were several times in the past with other lenders, vets United Went above and Beyond and put us in contact with our credit consultant Charlie. He told us exactly what we needed to do in order to get our credit where it needed to be and within no time we were ready to talk to our loan officer! Darin was amazing And also went above and beyond to get us preapproved and helped us through the entire loan process. Morgan was our Loan coordinator and she was absolutely amazing! She answered every single one of our questions on a day-to-day basis And made this entire process smooth and very stress free! Kohlie was Our concierge she was very informative and very friendly! We are very grateful for our entire loan team. Veterans United made my Husband and I feel so appreciated for his service. I wish the refinance process was simpler. It was disheartening to find out the property tax was not sorted during closing. It was 3 months after when I found out a payment was due and I was asked to pay out of pocket. It took 3 calls to get a rep that understood what I needed assistance with. This makes me question the process and reluctant to try again with this organization.

I’m sorry this was your experience. A refinance should feel clear and straightforward, and I understand how upsetting it must have been to learn months later that a property tax payment hadn’t been handled as expected. Being asked to pay out of pocket after the fact would catch anyone off guard.
I’m also disappointed to hear it took multiple calls to reach someone who could help. That kind of runaround can understandably make you question the process, and it’s not the support we want to provide.

I don’t doubt that my case was a rough one but it took months to close, the VA was not easy to get ahold of. Any time I tried to ask to speak to the person handling my case I was told to file a receipt and that someone would look at it. The communication was terrible. I do not feel like they cared about us it was just another case to the company. No individual communication. I even had to go out of my way to contact people the VA should’ve been talking to because it was weeks with no progress. And sure enough all it took was a phone call to figure out what the issue was. Even after that they seemed to not care about the time and energy it’s been taking my wife and I. Over all very terrible experience. Again, I could’ve been an outlier.
