Our original experience with VU was exceptional. We felt the refinance started out the same way, but kind of fell off. We were originally told our loan would close in 10 days, we finally closed with only days to spare.
Communication during the refinance was not as dynamic as before. We just felt "forgtte" once the process began, maybe we just fell through the cracks.
The experience was flawless. The team did an outstanding job in getting me everything that I needed and everything I needed to be prepared for. I was a first time home Buyer and the team that I worked with was always willing to help. Even when I reached out to them after buisness hours they always called me back first thing in the morning and answered the 8 thousand questions that I had. Thank you all for the great experience I appreciate everything that the team did for me and we are now loving our new home.
I was always under the impression that buying a house would be a very stressful and difficult process. They were both so professional and gave easy instructions on all forms needed, by giving us a checklist. They were great at answering any questions that we had. The whole process was a joy because these two were fantastic!!! I will definitely refer VU to other veterans!!! And I will recommend Jerry and Grace to them!!! I give them a grade of A++.
The loan team dropped the ball more than once. Communication was poor, I had to constantly chase people down for information and to get them to follow through. Very disappointing our second go around was so bad as our first one was great.
