It was good working with Alec. I did think closing cost just kept going up. Then when you’re at closing you don’t want to stop the process so you just sign…. But closing cost started at like 7k then it was 9k then at closing it came in at 11k so it never went down it just kept going up. So I’m not sure what happened and I really didn’t want to put a roadblock up late in the afternoon when I was finally signing… so I swallowed the expense and signed. For this being for veterans you would think you could get better pricing and better interest rates.
Veterans United is top notch for sure! From the loans process to the special appreciation gifts extended to me, I am so grateful I worked with them to secure my home loan. Eric Johnson, Brittany Miller, and Brittany Lucy are a fantastic team and it is very apparent they have the veteran's best interest in mind every step of the way. Not once did I ever feel alone or left out of the loop. I could call Eric Johnson or Brittany Miller at any time of the day or week (or weekend) for answers to my questions or concerns. I always felt they would work extremely hard to ensure I received answers. They added a sense of "fun" to this home buying journey and for that I appreciate them!
