I chose VU because of the name which I found to be deceiving. This company is worse than a lot of other companies that I know. They are not there to help veterans they are there to make money off of veterans. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Ryley Lyons was outstanding always answered the phone and answered any and all questions I threw his way.
Jenny Love on the other hand was the complete opposite would not recommend her to anyone. Never once did she answer the phone or ever called me and waited till last minute on a lot of things.

The team was great, courteous, helpful and responsive to emails, texts and phone calls. Everything was excellent, until it wasn’t. The closing date got cancelled and pushed back. I wasn’t notified and it cost me time and money. Overall I would do business with them again, but be more wary of promises they can’t keep.
Veterans United made so easy to purchase my new home. Everything from pre-approval to closing. They so many helpful service that helped to save me thousands .

As a first time home buyer, I went through a rollercoaster of emotions throughout this process. Lance Hopper and his team went out of their way to make sure I knew what to expect through the process. I even had a family emergency during this process that put things on pause. The first thing that Lance said to me was take care of family and we'll still be here. Throughout this process, I did not just feel like another number with Veterans United. As a Marine, I have always had a mentality of "get things done"....but with Veterans United, they made sure I was prepared for the whole process.

Home buying can be stressful especially when you’re juggling regular life with a bunch of kids. Understanding the lending process let alone a VA Loan was a lot of work (for me). Veterans United made the process simple and my loan officer, Rachel was outstanding! Made the process simple. Clearly communicated every step of the way. I would tell them if they had a hard time finding a loan, then you were the people to go through. But I would also tell them the difficulty it takes to get through everything you all want and how hard it is to understand some of you.
