My closing was on the 13th of November. They paid off the old loan at Rocket Mortgage on time, on the 3 day following closing. I received the "Cash to Close" (to borrower, at closing), on the 5 day after closing. 6 other debts that are supposed to be paid have not yet been paid by closing. At the 12th calendar day, I guess it takes a while to get those wires out.
The process was very fast paced and there were a few too many people getting in contact. It would have been nice to just have one or two points of contact.

The entire experience with Veterans United wasn't like a loan officer and loan specialist, it felt like friends helping each other. Look, for us veterans being genuine is huge. We can sniff it out when you aren't, and the entire team was rock solid genuine. I never had hesitation about anything. We finally did it! Thanks to Nick and Spencer for being there for us, they made buying in this crazy market a lot less stressful.

Relax a little on home refinancing. I shouldn’t have to get a well water test or pest test if I’m already living in the home. I understand these tests for a new home but not when I’m already living in it. If it had issues, I would know.
