Be prepared for a lot of steps... and remember to be patient. A lot of things about the process may not make sense, but once you reach the end you'll be able to see what those were about. Check your email often - throughout the day - and respond to things from them as quickly as you can to help keep everything running as smoothly as possible.Don't go crazy buying stuff for the new house until AFTER you've closed and gotten everything connected, hooked up and paid for - the power, water, etc. Remember, things can fall through on you until after everything is signed at closing.

Many of the documents required were dictated for upload piece-meal. For example, a couple of weeks into the process a water test was required because we had a well. The well test held up the process because it had to be done 3x before the process was approved. Had they told me upfront the process could have gone faster and smoother. Also, once a set of required documents was uploaded then more were requested. This happened on several occasions. Had they they required ALL the documents it would have made the process much smoother.
Working Veterans United team has by far exceeded our expectations when it came to buying our first house. They were quick, professional but concerned and caring. They kept the whole process moving forward in a timely fashion. We are still in shock how fast we became home owners!! Thank you Veterans United for helping us buy a home that we always dreamed of!!

Shawnee and her team was excellent!! They kept me updated on the progress of the loan. The to do list was great tool to make sure you were informed what was needed first the loan.
We ran into a couple of problems last year when trying to buy a house..but Brian and his team walked us threw as to what to do and not do so that everything would go smoothly when I start the process again to buy a house. Now I can say we are home owners now. Great job Brian and your whole team.
